Brigadeiros Chocolate Truffles

This trending four-ingredient dessert is taking over kitchens everywhere, and it couldn't be easier.

Meet Brigadeiros, Brazil's favourite bite-sized treat made with just condensed milk, butter, Food Thoughts Cocoa Powder, and sprinkles. Soft, fudgy, and perfectly chocolatey, they're easy to make and even easier to love.

Traditionally, they're rolled in chocolate sprinkles, but we love the colourful twist with rainbow ones.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp Food Thoughts Organic Cacao Powder
  • Sprinkles of your choice

MADE WITH

EQUIPMENT

  • Saucepan
  • Plate (lightly greased)

METHOD

  1. Add the condensed milk and butter to a saucepan over a low to medium heat.
  2. Sift in the Food Thoughts Organic Cacao Powder and stir continuously.
  3. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens and you can see the bottom of the pan when you draw a spoon through it.
  4. Pour the mixture onto a lightly greased plate and spread out evenly.
  5. Chill in the fridge for 2–3 hours until firm enough to handle.
  6. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  7. Coat each brigadeiro in your favourite sprinkles.
  8. Serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
